New Hampshire Board of Nursing Continuing Education

Total Hours Required: RN / LPN / APRN 30 hours | Renewal Cycle: 2 Years

New Hampshire RN's, LPN's and APRN's must complete a minimum of 30 contact hours during the two-year renewal period.

Required Courses

New Hampshire has no specific required courses for RN's and LPN's however contact hours must pertain to the licensee's scope of practice (Nur 403.04). For APRN's, at least 20 of the 30 hours shall be specific to their specialty practice area, with 5 hours of pharmacology CE specific to their practice area. License Expiration Dates

Audits and Retaining CE Records

If you are selected for an audit, you will need to submit a list of your CE information completed in the past 2-years. You will not need to send copies of the certificates that you receive however keep the certificates for your records.
